Ollen Musical Sophistication Index
The Ollen Musical Sophistication Index (OMSI) is a tool to aid researchers in classifying their research participants as more or less musically sophisticated. As a doctoral student at the CSML, Joy Ollen created OMSI as part of her PhD dissertation (Ollen 2006).
OMSI is currently hosted by the University of Western Sydney's Marcs Auditory Laboratories, and is available as an interactive online form.
