Listening to Keyboard Music
Participants in this study will be rating several preselected words for how well they describe short excerpts of keyboard music. By participating, you will help us learn more about how people interpret musical works.
The experiment will last around 45 minutes. Please contact Yuri Broze at broze.3@osu.edu or Brandon Paul at paul.674@osu.edu to schedule a time.
What can music express?
Read Aloud Study
For this study, participants will be asked to read aloud a list of simple sentences.
You will be asked to perform other "distracting" tasks at the same time
while you read. (Not as boring as it sounds.)
The experiment lasts roughly 40 minutes.
Please contact Daniel Shanahan at daniel.shanahan@gmail.com to schedule a time.
Auditory Warning Signals in Aircraft
Contact Matthew Davis at davis.3131@osu.edu to schedule a time.
Why Students Choose Their Primary Instrument (Or Voice)
This study is looking at why students choose to study one instrument over another and what factors influence that decision. You will be asked to complete a survey about why you decided to learn to play your primary instrument or to sing.
The experiment will take about 40-45 minutes
